In a series on The Changing Carolina Coast, North Carolina Public Radio featured SERDP Defense Coastal / Estuarine Research Program (DCERP) research at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune. DCERP’s long-term multi-disciplinary research is helping MCB Camp Lejeune and other coastal installations better understand how to sustain use of these lands for military training into the future considering the impacts of climate change, including increases in extreme storms and sea level rise. The broadcast includes SERDP Principal Investigators Dr. Pat Cunningham from RTI International and Dr. Antonio Rodriguez from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Institute of Marine Sciences.
