Driving Options

Due to various driving restrictions during weekday mornings and afternoons in Virginia on I-66 and I-395 and in Washington, D.C., on Rock Creek Parkway, driving directions are too complex to post. You are advised to map the trip yourself and ensure that you do not use these restricted routes if you do not meet the minimum occupancy requirement or when the roads are funneling traffic one way only.

You may plan your route using maps.google.com/maps; choose the “Get Directions” option.

For more information about the HOV restrictions in Virginia, visit www.virginiadot.org/travel. Note: Even though HOV-2 rules are in effect weekdays on I-66, motorists traveling to and from Dulles International Airport on business are permitted to use I-66 inside the Beltway during HOV hours.

Rail – Extended: For those outside the metropolitan DC area, Amtrak offers another rail option. The closest Amtrak station to the hotel is Union Station in the heart of Washington, D.C.
