This short course provides insight into the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for natural resource management on DoD lands. Topics include a review of current DoD use policies, approval processes, training requirements, and example resource management applications. The course will provide participants with an understanding of both the challenges and potential benefits of unmanned aerial vehicles for natural resource management on DoD lands.
