This short course provides an update to the tools available for resilient infrastructure planning with a particular focus on tools available to DoD installation planning practitioners at coastal installations. Topics include an introduction sea level change tools, an exploration of the statistical adjustment approaches to climate derived hydrology data, what those adjustments and diagnostics are, and how to apply the methods available, the background context on nonstationarity research, and an introduction to the framework based on the shift in assumptions from hydrologic stationarity to nonstationarity and outlines the major steps of the framework. The course will provide participants with an understanding of the tools currently available and their use.
