SERDP and ESTCP released solicitations on July 30, 2019, requesting proposals for research and demonstration of non-fluorine based firefighting formulations and/or technologies. FY 2020 funds will be awarded through a competitive process to Federal and private organizations.

The due date for all proposals is September 12, 2019 by 2 p.m. ET. More information about the solicitations, including instructions and deadlines, is available on the Working With Us page.

Webinar for the Supplemental Solicitations:  SERDP and ESTCP Director Dr. Herb Nelson and Weapons Systems and Platforms Program Manager Dr. Robin Nissan will conduct an online seminar “SERDP and ESTCP Supplemental Funding Opportunities – FY 2020” on August 9, 2019, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET. This briefing will offer valuable information for those interested in the new funding opportunities.
