ESTCP is gearing up for the 2016 Energy Exchange to be held August 9 to 11, 2016 in Providence, Rhode Island.

ESTCP’s Energy and Water Program Area supports the demonstration of innovative technologies that improve the energy and water efficiency, enhance the energy security and reduce the cost to operate the Department of Defense’s (DoD) installations. The Energy Exchange is an excellent forum for ESTCP to interact with federal and private sector energy professionals and learn about developments in federal- building operations, energy management and new technology.

ESTCP has an annual solicitation, to which researchers from Federal organizations, universities, and private industry can apply for funding. All proposals must respond to a Topic Area associated with the solicitation. ESTCP projects are formal demonstrations in which innovative technologies are rigorously evaluated. Demonstrations are conducted at DoD facilities to document improved efficiency, reliability, improved environmental outcomes, and cost savings.

To learn more about the program, attend ESTCP’s Energy and Water Program presentation on Federal Technology Programs at the Energy Exchange on Tuesday, August 9, 10:30am – 12:00pm. In addition, the ESTCP program will also be exhibiting at the Energy Exchange trade show, at booth# 310.

DoD Energy Managers!  Please stop by to say hello and meet the ESTCP Energy and Water Team.  We are eager to learn about the energy challenges you face, big and small, and hear your ideas for future solicitation topics.

We hope to see you there!
