SERDP and ESTCP are excited to launch a new webinar series with the goal of promoting the transfer of innovative, cost-effective and sustainable solutions developed by SERDP and ESTCP. This series targets Department of Defense and Department of Energy practitioners, the regulatory community and environmental researchers. The primary objective of the series is to provide the environmental industry with cutting edge, trustworthy and practical information that is easily accessible at no cost.

The webinars will be held roughly every two weeks on Thursdays from 12:00 to 1:30 pm Eastern time. Each webinar will feature two distinguished speakers per technical topic from the SERDP and ESTCP research programs. The first webinar will be held on October 30, 2014 on vapor intrusion at contaminated sites and will feature key results from three Environmental Restoration projects. Vapor intrusion webinar presenters include Dr. Paul Johnson (Arizona State University) and Dr. Thomas McHugh (GSI Environmental). Future webinar topics will include waste-to-energy technologies, contaminated sediments, acoustic methods for underwater munitions, solar technologies, lead free electronics and many others.

The webinar series will enhance technology transfer efforts for all five SERDP and ESTCP research program areas:

  • Energy and Water
  • Environmental Restoration
  • Munitions Response
  • Resource Conservation and Climate Change
  • Weapons Systems and Platforms

For notifications on upcoming webinars, please sign up for the SERDP and ESTCP mailing list or join one of our social media sites (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+).
