The 2019 Energy Exchange will be held in Denver, CO from August 20 to 22, 2019. The Energy Exchange is an excellent forum for ESTCP to interact with federal and private sector energy professionals, learn about developments in federal building management and share results from our portfolio of new technology demonstration projects. As in past years, ESTCP has several projects on the training agenda and is looking forward to connecting with the federal energy community.

There will be information available on ESTCP, our funding process, highlights of ongoing projects, and potential opportunities to host future ESTCP demonstrations. There will also be information on the upcoming annual SERDP and ESTCP Symposium, which will be held December 3-5, 2019 at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park in Washington D.C. The objective of ESTCP is to identify and demonstrate promising innovative and cost-effective technologies and solutions that address DoD’s high-priority environmental requirements. And, to ensure successful transition of technologies through a variety of pathways including collaboration with energy project integrators like utilities and energy services companies (ESCOs). Along these lines, ESTCP is hosting a session at the Energy Exchange under Track 8, Advanced Effective Technologies, on Tuesday, August 20, 4:00 to 5:30 PM, titled Technology Pitches and Networking to Develop Demonstration Projects. The objective of this session is to introduce new efficient and effective technologies to key stakeholders involved in developing energy projects and to provide opportunity for attendees to initiate collaboration for future demonstration project opportunities. The technologies to be pitched at the session include wireless building management systems, micro combined heat and power technology, and lighting and window retrofit solutions. If you are looking for efficient building solutions and/or are involved in the decision making of building efficiency upgrades, be sure to stop by this session to learn about and network with the technology providers. In addition to the technology providers, you will also have an opportunity to learn about the government technology demonstration programs and meet the Program Managers of ESTCP, General Services Administration (GSA) Green Proving Ground (GPG) and National Renewable Energy Laboratory Innovation Incubator (NREL- IN2) programs.
In addition, several of ESTCP’s past and ongoing EW projects are presenting at various sessions throughout the Energy Exchange agenda. The presentations will discuss the technologies, demonstration results, and/or technology transfer opportunities. Be sure to check them out.
