This conference of approximately 1,100 attendees will assemble environmental researchers and technology developers with the defense user and regulatory communities to showcase cutting edge environmental technologies and ideas, as well as communicate the most difficult challenges of our defense establishment. SERDP and ESTCP strive to provide networking opportunities for users in the field to examine technologies that may offer solutions to current problems.
The opening Plenary Session will feature Rear Admiral David Titley, Oceanographer and Navigator with the U.S. Navy; Dr. Paul Anastas, Assistant Administrator of the Office of Research and Development within the U.S. EPA; and Dr. Robert Costanza, Director of the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics within the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources in the University of Vermont. These speakers will address emerging environmental challenges facing the Department of Defense (DoD).
Also part of the Plenary Session, SERDP and ESTCP Principal Investigators who have helped DoD achieve its mission while improving its environmental performance will be honored as the annual SERDP and ESTCP Project-of-the-Year Awards are announced.
As details about the Plenary Session are confirmed, additional information will be available under the Agenda tab at the top of the page.
